The UK’s leading retirement housebuilder, McCarthy and Stone, is inviting local retirees and their families to ‘Make Yourself At Home’ at Brunlees Court, with a host of events set to take place at the Retirement Living Plus development on Cambridge Road throughout September.

The UK’s leading retirement housebuilder, McCarthy and Stone, is inviting local retirees and their families to ‘Make Yourself At Home’ at Brunlees Court, with a host of events set to take place at the Retirement Living Plus development on Cambridge Road throughout September.

The McCarthy & Stone team at Brunlees Court will be welcoming members of the public to Open Days on Wednesday 13th and Thursday 14th September. From 11am until 4pm, all are welcome to take a tour of the professionally-styled show apartments; and there will also be an opportunity to find out more about the benefits of moving to a Retirement Living Plus development in a prime Southport location.

On Thursday 28th September, from 11am until 1pm, the team will also play host to homeowners and local retirees for a Macmillan Coffee Morning. Local people are invited to drop in and enjoy a cup of tea and coffee and a slice of cake to help raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Fiona Brooks, Regional Managing Director at McCarthy and Stone North West, said: “We are looking forward to welcoming Southport locals to our events across September. The community here at Brunlees Court is thriving, and it is a place where both homeowners and Southport locals can enjoy the lifestyle on offer and get involved in our fantastic events.”

Brunlees Court comprises an attractive collection of 62 one and two-bedroom Retirement Living PLUS apartments, priced from £144,999 and £224,999 respectively.

All those who reserve an apartment before Friday 29th September will not only receive a £5,000 discount, they will also be eligible for McCarthy and Stone’s ‘Smooth Move’ service which includes contributions towards estate agent and legal fees. Alternatively, prospective purchasers can choose to Part Exchange their existing home, whether trading up or down, which helps to avoid estate agents, sales chains and the stress of moving out and in on the same day.

Brunlees Court has been thoughtfully-designed exclusively for the over 70s, to provide the very best in modern, independent living within a safe and secure environment.

Facilities include a homeowners’ lounge, ideal for socialising with friends; beautifully landscaped gardens in which to relax; and a convenient guest suite, should homeowners have friends or relatives to stay. The development also features its very own bistro which prepares freshly cooked meals; and tailored domestic support and assistance packages are also available to help homeowners manage their day-to day-lives. An Estates Manager takes care of the smooth-running of the development; while security entrance systems and 24 hour emergency call points provide added peace-of-mind for homeowners and their families.

More than 90% of customers would recommend McCarthy and Stone to a friend, ensuring it has received the maximum Five Star award for customer satisfaction from the Home Builders Federation for 12 years’ running. It is the only UK housebuilder of any size or type to achieve this accolade, which is every year the awards have been run.

All those interested in attending the Macmillan Coffee Morning or any of the forthcoming open days at Brunlees Court are invited to call 0800 201 4811. For more information about retirement living in Southport, please visit www.mccarthyandstone.co.uk.
